Our templates are designed to meet AA+ ratings, and are therefore compliant with assistive technologies such as screen readers and magnifiers. The template designs allow for key browsing, and template fonts are scalable.
It is policy for University sites to be developed using the W3C AA+ compliant templates. Our web team held meetings with visually impaired students during the development of the current template to enhance understanding of navigation and usage, with feedback being incorporated in the designs.
